Welcome to our 2025 Harvest Subscription or better known as CSA.
What does CSA stands for Community Supported Agriculture. The CSA model for farming is also referred to as farm shares, harvest boxes, etc. In this model members subscribe to a season’s worth of vegetables, sharing both the risks and bounty of agriculture. You place your food dollar directly in the hands of a local family farm and in exchange receive a share of fresh, organically grown vegetables each week.
By joining our farm as a CSA member you gain greater knowledge of where your food comes from and how it is produced, through weekly farm pick-ups. By joining a CSA you support small farms and a production system that provides nutritious and fresh food for your family and community.
Our CSA Program
Every week from the Heart of The Upper Squamish Valley, you will Enjoy a Farm Fresh Bounty of biodynamically grown seasonal vegetables.Though out the season each week you'll receive some staple crops in your harvest such as a various variety of Greens, Carrots, Beets, Broccoli, Potatoes, Tomatoes, Cucumbers, Cabbage, Onions, etc and some not as common vegetables for you to expand your kitchen experience! A farm email will come your way on CSA pick up days with a list of veggies in your weekly share, a recipe about those not as common vegetables in your harvest, news about the farm life, and a little blurb on the planetary influence of the week.

What is Market Style CSA mean?
The Market-style CSA is by no means new. CSA farms all over the world have done it for ages. We want our focus to be placed on our smaller local community, we are able to invite members out to a local community to pick up their CSA share. This farm pick-up gives people a choice in the harvest, and a chance to see and talk with their local farmer every single week.
But how do members get to choose what goes in the box they take home? There are many different ways that farms have used to give their members options– here’s the way it works at Nutrient Dense Farm. Each week, you come to the Wednesday Market at Eagle Run Village between 3 pm -7 pm with your own bag/crate/box. We have a stand set up– much like a tent at a farmers’ market– with a spread of everything we are harvesting that week. The various veggies are arranged in groups with like products: head lettuces, mixed lettuce, mixed greens, spinach, and arugula are all in one area; carrot, beet, and salad turnip bunches are together somewhere else. Hanging will be a list of veggies on a chalkboard, a “menu” so to speak, listing all that is available and what the choices are. For example, from the “greens” category, you may choose any two bags. It could be one spinach and one arugula, two bags of lettuce mix, or any other combination. Then from the “staples” category, you may choose 10 pounds of any combination of carrots, beets, onions, and potatoes etc. In the heart of summer, we have options for bulk items for preserving– tomatoes, cucumbers, herbs, etc.
If there’s something you don’t like, you never have to take it. Or if you like it but you’re sick of it, you can skip it for that week. If you know you want a lot of something for a special dish, you can stock up as long as it’s not in short supply.
This is just a quick example to paint a picture for you to see how it works, it’s much like a farmers’ market.
What's Next.
